Importing .mdb files

We are having a problem importing Access 97 .mdb into Oracle server 8.0. We downloaded the patch from Oracles website so it can handle Access 97. Whenever we try to import the .mdb we get the following error message:
-2147220908

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
