MS SQL65. Extended Stored Procedure Equivalent?

MSSQL6.5 has something called extended stored procedures which make it possible to write arbitrary DLL/C code and have the functions within the DLL callable as stored procedures from within an SQL batch. Is there a similar interface with the Oracle database products which would allow adding customized extensions.

Thanks
