when we import the full database from a file , using the command "imp", we are having troubles with the character 'ñ', instead of this , the database writes an '?'. I think this is the default character, used by the "south european " character set.

How can we change the default character set value to an 'ñ', when we are doing a import? or
how can we import correctly the database objects (using an 'ñ' instead of '?' ) to the database?

If you can answer in spanish better.

Thanks and sorry for my english is not very good. Received on Tue Mar 23 1999 - 06:29:04 CST
