Has anyone done tests on running Oracle 7/8 on a K-2 processor vs a PII processor of the same speed. I'm looking into a new developement box and am wondering if the Intel chip has any significant speed advantage with Oracle. I found some benchmarks, but they just look at apps such as Excel or Word.

Thanks for any info.

Michael.
