Re: Anyone Using Oracle8 with Novell?

I havent used Oracle 8 on Netware but have used Oracle 7 on Netware 4.1. It run rings around WinNT for performance and memory usage but it does not handle doing file serving at the same time ie it crashes. Of course this may have changed with V8. I did have issues with the support that Oracle provided - which basically stemmed from the fact that no-one was using it and the support team was very limited in their knowledge of the platform.

PS I would recommend UNIX platform everytime over NT
