Re: Beware! the days of Oracle may be numbered

Oracle's not going anywhere. If you were smart, you'd see this is the time to buy Oracle stock. If I'd bought when they dropped the last time (10/97?) I'dve made a killing.

Oracle's just announced a new major upgrade - Oracle 8i. This may be why sales lagged analysts expectations. People were waiting until the product was released to make their purchases. Unfortunately it wasn't announced soon enough to make the Q3 financial statement.

Oracle's here for a long time to come.
