v_$database, my mistake..I meant what database they were in since they have identical user names on several different database.

What if though, I want to grant select on all the v$ views, without select any table. I connected as sys, and looked in dba_tables, and couldn't find and v_..... tables, and I couldn't find any v$.... views in dba_views. Am I doing something wrong?
