HP-UX 10.20
Oracle 7.3.4 Parallel Server with raw partition database.

To use asynch i/o a device driver has to be created called /dev/async. Our sys adm says that on reboot this file is removed and replaced by the standard /dev/asyncdisk (which is no good to Oracle). Any solutions?? (apart from doing a mkdev on startup!)
