OAS 3.0 on Linux

Hi Gurus!!

I have got a problem with starting the OWS on my LINUX box. After the " owsctl start wrb" i try to start the admin with "owsctl start admin"
I have got the folloving error message:

>owsctl start admin

Oracle Web Listener 3.0.2 Production (Export), Version 2.14FC1 Copyright 1997 Oracle Corp. All Rights Reserved.

Information: Listening on NORM port 8888 address 0.0.0.0 open: No such file or directory
Cannot open lock file
Error: Companion oraweb process failed
OWS-08811: Unable to startup Oracle Web Listener `admin'.

Could anybody tell me why?
What is the name and the full path of the lock-file? How can I resolv this problem?
