Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> TNS Listener won't start
Hello,
I have Oracle8 Ent Ed running on NT4.0 Server Version SP 4. I then installed Dev2000. After I installed Designer 2000, I had used SQL Net Easy Config to create a database alias to connect to the database. I used my TCP/IP address on my companys network to connect just fine. Now that I no longer use my laptop on the network anymore, I have trouble connecting to the database when logging into Designer 2000. The TNS Listerner will not even start. Does anyone know what changes need to be made to the listener.ora or otherwise so that I can connect? My computer name is "djones" . Your help is appreciated. This what the Listener.ora looks like:
