See OS manuals whether any of supported filesystems allows to store files > 2GB (unfortunetally I don't know Solaris 2.6 details). If there exists such filesystem type, you probably need to remake _proper_ filesystem on your device (heh, backup existing files & so on). Just another issue -- maybe you need patching OS to really support large files.
However, consider compressing export as suggested in one of replies to your post.
