Hi,

On NT, much like on any normal UNIX system - you can't place your datafiles on a network drive.
It simply doesn't work.
Why were you trying to do so? don't have enough disk space? tried to simplify the drive letter problem?
If so - try a RAID drive for all the database files, including the dbf, redo logs, control files and oracle executables - we do.
