Dear Adrian,

Common principles for support and upgrades:

  1. Last three version in support by Oracle;
  2. Oracle announced desupport letter 1.5 year early than really desupported;
  3. Extended support (no bug fix, no backport, etc.) available during 3 year after product really desuppored (chargeable);
  4. After you received update previous version supported only during three months;
  5. One point of contact per organisation (more is chargeble);
  6. New version for Oracle Servre EE available typically one time per three months and Oracle Server one times per half year (some platforms, for example Novell, OpenVMS, etc. available time to time).
