Hi!

I am runing Oracle Web Server on Solaris 7 x86.

I have problem with starting admin listner (WRB started without errors):

Oracle Web Listener 3.0.1 Production (Export), Version 2.14FC1 Copyright 1997 Oracle Corp. All Rights Reserved.

Information: Listening on NORM port 8888 address 0.0.0.0 Cannot assign name to lock file!
Server now running as process 1391
connect: Connection refused
OWS-08831: Unable to start PULSE process `/opt/oracle/product/734/ows/3.0/bin/wrpulsar myhostname 8888'.
OWS-08829: Unable to startup up PULSE process. Oracle Web Listener startup aborted.

What is lock file (Message: "Cannot assign name to lock file!")? How solve this problem?

Thanks, Vitaliy. Received on Tue Feb 23 1999 - 01:13:44 CST
