During the install of client32 version 3.0 the new version of winsock
(Microsoft) is installed to the workstation.This new interface is not
supported by all applications. When you want to revert back to winsock
version 1.0 you have to run the ws2bakup batch file (or delete and
reinstal win95)
With win95 is this a solution. We've heard that with windows 98 the
directory C;\Windows\Ws2bakup is not created by the install of
Client32 v3.01.
Does anybody know:
1. if we can expect problems under windows98
2. what will be the solution when there is a problem
