Hi.

Running OWAS 3.0.2 on Linux (RH 5.1).

Changed port # in httpd.conf file from 80 to 81 and verified that Apache web server was indeed responding to requests on port 81.. Added OWAS listener for port 80 called 'www.barron.com' using the '/ows-abin' interface. Then tried to start up the listener and got the following message:

OWS-05721: The Web Listener www failed to start:

Oracle Web Listener 3.0.2 Production (Export), Version 2.14FC1   Copyright 1997 Oracle Corp. All Rights Reserved.

Error: A failure occurred ( Permission denied ) when assigning a port ( domain:
  www.barron.com., address: 0.0.0.0,
  port: 80 ).
Error: Failed to start the server.
Error: The server could not initialize   Information: The server is exiting
OWS-08811: Unable to startup Oracle Web Listener `www'.
