Hi...
I am running PO7 in WIN95.
I have 2 databases running in this mechine at the same time(ORCL and TEST1). I am able to use SQL*PLUS33 to connect to ORCL, However, I cannot connect to TEST1.

In SQL*PLUS33 If I connect to database without filling in the HOST STRING. It will default to ORCL.

I created an alias for ORCL with SQLNET Easy Config Database alias= Try1
Protocol = Bequeth --(something like this) Hostname = localhost
Database Instance = ORCL
I can connect to ORCL using SQL*PLUS33 using host string = Try1.

I did the same thing with TEST1
DATABASE alias = TRY2
Protocol = Bequeth
Hostname = localhost
Database Instance = TEST1
I got error message : TNS: could not resolve service name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Assoy
