Prespawned Servers

Hi
I am trying to configure pre-spawned servers using Oracle 73360 on VMS and am having some trouble. It seems to be 'buggy'. When we run our application the prespawned servers seem to drop unexpectedly . When I connect through simple SQLPlus it seems to work reasonably well.

Is anyone out there using prespawned servers on VMS ? On any Platform ? If so I'd like to discuss known issues / how it should work / how it does work etc .
