Need Oracle 8.0.5 Client to be 8.0.4

We bought Oracle 8.0.5 Server for NT. We use Delphi 4.0 to develop, but Delphi BLOB fields are only compatible with 8.0.4 (according to Borland)

Is there a way to make the Oracle Net 8 client use the 8.0.4 drivers instead of 8.0.5 and possibly solve our problem?
