if you are using 7.3.x you can just rebuild index without droping it which is a lot faster than drop and build.

if you are droping all the indexes, coalesce the tableSpace which will produce the exact result of dropping the tableSpace and recreating, and it will also keep the quota information. All it does is defrag the tableSpace.
