 Only a question :

After the shutdown of the database, do you NET STOP ORACLEServiceYourDatabase.
This command unload the Oracle73.exe of the memory.

On my database, we do many sorts and the process Oracle73.exe increase and increase.
The only way i have find, is : shutdown the database and stop all the oracle services.

Take care in the INITsid.ORA file :

SHARED_POOL_SIZE number of bytes
DB_BLOCK_BUFFERS numbers of blocks * DB_BLOCK_SIZE size of a data block SORT_AREA*** : area of PGA for sort data.
