There is a flaw when using Database Assistant.

Yor database did not complete....because the listener did not start......so
Look in $ORACLE_HOME\database and you probably dont have any control files???

  1. start the listener in the NT services and the rad1 service to mount
  2. copy and EDIT to fit two files from rdbms80\build_db.sql and buildall.sql rebuild the database

Hope this helps
