lotus notes interface with oracle

hi ,

my question is :-

say that there is this table with a date column, email address column.

the system will check the date in the date column against the system date. say if there is a condition like if the date in the date column falls 7 days in between/ earlier than the system date, lotus notes will send a notification letter to the particular user.

can anyone tell me how is this interface can be done? if there's any syntax or codes needed, i would apprecaited if anyone can provide that as well. thanks in advance!
