Hi,

I am not a Linux specialist, but I am trying to install the database RDBMS. I face severe problems with the Oracle documentation saying
(reconfigure the kernel to the following .... ipcs ....)

How do I set the correct shared memory parameters?
(Please, step by step :-) )

Is there a howto with more detailed information on how to set up the linux kernel for Oracle?

Thank you for your time and patience,
Any reply is very welcome
