ORACLE 8.0 COMPATIBILITY WITH ADO

Hi all, I am chandrasekar and I am involved in the process of developing an application with ORACLE 8.0 , VC++ 6.0 AND VB 6.0 in Com-Dcom architecture . My problem starts with ORACLE 8.0.3.0 compatibility features with ActiveX Database Object (ADO) . I couldn't query a table from ADO with collectors in it.

Does oracle 8.0 objects and types compatibile with ADO ? If so can I query the table through ADO ?

I am quite thankful if someone can give me some inputs regarding this . Cheers
