If you aren't trying to shutdown / startup the database, NORMAL is probably all you need. That's why I've never looked any further. If you are trying to shutdown / startup and using svrmgr GUI, you would need a local copy of parameter file and tell svrmgr where it is. Received on Sat Jan 16 1999 - 23:55:07 CST
