Yes. Error report means that linker doesn't find library nls which is a part of glibc 2.0.7.

Installation script assumes you have Redhat and it needs some repairing before it would link executables under Slackware.

(Assuming you have already installed glibc 2.0.7, which is not part of Slackware, at least 3.5 which I have. )
