Newbie Help - Printing from SQLPlus

I'm trying to send output from SQLPlus to a printer. I've created a file using SPOOL and attempted to send it to the printer using SPOOL OUT. The file ends up in a directory on the network and doesn't print out. SQLPlus is loaded on the client and I've set up a default printer through UNIX on the host. Any suggestions?
