ConText and ProC PL/SQL

Having trouble compiling some ProC code. It seems when using the CONTAINS function for ConText queries the SQLCHECK=NONE must be set, but when using embedded PL/SQL the SQLCHECK=SEMANTICS must be set. Does someone know how to resolve the conflict of putting a CONTAINS function into a PL/SQL block without using stored procedures.
