OK, things are shutting down clean and starting UP clean..........

BUT HOW DO I GET THIS POS TO NOT NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN ALL THE TIME? Oracle's had how long to figure out how to build development tools without constant memory leaks? Sheesh!
