Not really a migration tips as such but this is something that caught me out when we moved 733>805 and caused problems with client apps.

The structure of ROWID changes, if you have applications that use the ROWID then they will have problems.

For us we had application written using Delphi 1, nothing fancy just using the standard BDE and the navigator control, and in these we could insert and edit data correctly but it died if we tried to move the record pointer then edit. Plus we got a bunch of random error messages in other places which are all related to this same issue.

Conclusion is nothing special just make sure that you thoughorly test all aplications before conversion.
