This combination of software is probably just asking for trouble. In the past I
tried to run a normal client and personal oracle 7 on one system and it simply
doesn't work, because the po7 communication software overwrites the normal
communication software. As far as I heard this is resolved in PO8. To quote an
Oracle employee : It's always in the next version!
Please call Worldwide Support and try to get this confirmed (not the quote of
course)
