Migration from SQL Server to Oracle

Hi,

We are migrating from SQL Server 6.5 to Oracle 8.0. The SQL Server database is a very high volume / high transaction (30-40GB)database. I need advise as to how to migrate the data from the SQL Server to Oracle without bringing the SQL Server database down for a long time. Something like migrating the data and then synchronizing the data that has changed during the migration? Help required ASAP.
