Hi:

• For instance tuning, check my site below. Also, read the Tuning Guide.
• For O/S tuning, check my site below also. Specific to NT, but much of it applies to any O/S.
• For application specific tuning, I use SQLab from Quest Software (www.quests.com), and I think it's fantastic. They've just released a new "Expert" version that provides an on-line knowledge-base, suggestions, etc.
