Hi,

I totally agree with Billy. I used NT4 for 1.5 years as a development platform. It was very stable as for me. I rebooted server (8.0.3) only because of intelligent agent's exceptions. This agent is very bad implemented in this version, but I think that this is Oracle problem and not NT.

Oracle server is very stable on NT. I made a lot of stress tests and server was always OK. No problems with power off inside of transaction. There was no any datafile corruptions. It is very nice and cheap development platform. There no problems to support up to 100 concurrent connections (I did not tried more). So it is very suitable for small databases.

If you have problems with Oracle on NT then maybe it is the time to check your hands? Maybe they work in wrong way?
