Have you done all the setup stuff you need? There a page or two in the DBA Reference about registering the extproc etc.

Also you need to have the listener running.

I iterated a few times before I got it working - but I did get useful error messages about RPC and extproc and stuff rather than it hanging. Received on Thu Dec 10 1998 - 10:28:55 CST
