Looking for critical errors

Hi all,

    I'm trying to discriminate the
errors that ORACLE registers in the
alert file. This is in order to check
that everythigh is working all right.
But how could I discriminate critical
error messages from others? Is there any rule in order to select, with awk or
grep for example, from alert file only
critical errors?
