Oracle 8.0 (Defrag and 8i) questions

Can anyone answer the following questions:

Does Oracle 8.0.5 provide any type of database defragmentation capabilities ?
Last May at the IOUG Conference, several of the Oracle 8.0 session speakers stated that problems found in Oracle 8.0 would be corrected in 8.1. Since then, I have heard nothing on 8.1 and everything on Oracle 8.i.

Will there be an Oracle 8.1 release or has it been dropped and replaced by 8.i ?
