We have users that like to do ad hoc queries using access. We are having

performance problems with a particular table. What's odd is that it is very similar
to another table that has no retrieval problems.

Table 1 - no problem viewing data - has 800,000 rows Table 2 - is VERY slowing retrieving data through access - only has 30,000 rows

Both tables have the same fields, field types and indexes. Both tables are
easily accessibly through sqlplus.

Any ideas?
