$ORACLE_LINK in Linux WAS install?

I'm trying to install the Oracle Web Application Server 3.0.2 on Linux and after some time in the install procedure, I'm asked to specify an $ORACLE_LINK directory (that must be different from $ORACLE_HOME). I tried faking it out but it wants an actual directory. So I created a dummy directory for it to use and it still didn't go forward. What is the $ORACLE_LINK it wants and why have I never seen it before? Received on Mon Nov 30 1998 - 11:53:45 CST
