sap and oracle 8 partitioning

Has anybody start using oracle 8 table partitionning with SAP. I understand that tables are not partition with SAP but a DBA could partition a table outside of sap when it could help to distribute I/O or provide better access path (like partition elimination for ts scan, etc..).

If so , on wich table the did you apply partitionning..
