Another alternative could be SCO Unix. Which is cleaper
then Solaris/Intel. Unless you are on really tight budget, I won't
recommend putting a production system on a Linux Box. Don't
get me wrong, I have slackware running and quite happy about it.
It's my experience with HPUX and OSF that, even with such
established Unix's there are occasions where you need patches
desperately to resolve some teething bugs.
