Store Procedures with Parameters passing in - question

Hello,



Hopefully this is really simple. What is the max number out allowable
parameters that can be passed into a stored procedure? I've looked in a
couple of books and they either say nothing regarding this and another
book "infers"  that there is no limit, but it is a matter of
managability.



Is there a fixed limit.
