Re: Error when starting pmon on Oracle for linux

Thanks for your help. I checked both of these things and it appears oracle is writing to the directory without a problem. there is a file: alert_prop.log
It appears to write to this log when I start svrmgrl. Any other ideas would be great? I really am out of places to look.
