I need help with an HPUX 10.10 system and the /var filesystem filling up. The system has 15 mirrored logical volumes. It happens during the backup script, which will shutdown the database(Oracle 7.3.2), break the mirrors (lvsplit), start the database, fsck the mirror volume, mount the mirror, etc .... During the backup script the /var filesystem will fill up to 100%? What is happening here. The /var filesystem is not one of the volumes involved in the backup. Is it possible that something else is causing this? Is Oracle 7.3.2 involved? Received on Mon Nov 23 1998 - 07:33:48 CST
