Hi all,
I've got a 3.1h Oracle 7.3.3.6 system (server). SQL*NET version is 2.3.3.0.3 (server & clients). TNSnames.ora has IPC and TCP addresses, but I can't TNSping successfully unless I take out the IPC addresses. I can see 12203 errors ("no protocol adapter"). Well the TCP is installed and working fine. It's the IPC that's the problem. Anyone know why the system doesn't think that the IPC adapter is installed? Thanks, craig Received on Sat Nov 21 1998 - 21:34:05 CST
