WAS3.0 way too slow on linux, help...

hi there

after i tired do depose this message in the oracle on linux board, i trz it here:

i have successfully installed the whole oracle8 and the WAS on my linux box, and now i try to run a pl-sql script in the default installation. on a nt box it with was 2.1 this was running in 0.1 seconds and now, with better hardware, it runs in 5 (!) seconds.

it seems like, it takes very long, till it begins to process my request, but afterwards it's running very fast. does anybody know, what i am doing wrong, where i could speed up my configuration?
