Message: "INPUT TRUNCATED TO n CHARACTERS" is obtained when you run a

    script at the SQL*Plus prompt.

Problem:

Message: "Input Truncated To 'N' Characters" is received when running a script
at the SQL*Plus prompt.

This message is caused by the lack of a carriage return (CR) at the end of the
last line of the script.

Solution:

Go to the end of the last line, hit delete, and then insert a CR. Save the script. Received on Sat Nov 21 1998 - 13:01:49 CST
