Error 12571 - Fatal error in two task server (Oracle 7.3 on NT).

This may be obvious, but couldn't find any helpful information on this error(i.e.; Error 12571 - Fatal error in two task server). It shows up randomly in the trace files and always together with the following error: ORA-00028: Your session has been killed.

It also generates a lot of 'backtrace' type of information in the trace files. Can this be caused simply by killing an active process?
