I recently installed Oracle 8.0.4 on a HP-UX and a Solaris system. Working with Oracle 7.2.3 and Oracle 7.3.4 on UNIX systems in the past I have relied heavily DBA tool called svrmgrm. This is the motif version of svrmgrl. svrmgrm allows you to do neat stuff like manage table spaces using a graphical interface.

Much to my dismay, my Oracle 8.0.4 installations did not include svrmgrm. What happened? Did I miss an installation option? Did Oracle drop support for svrmgrm? Is svrmgrm now an option that I have to pay extra for?

Please help. I don't want to have learn how to manage table spaces using a command line interface when I used to have this cool graphical tool.

Thanks,
Lev
